Canadian Museum of Water

Midland, Ontario, Canada

About the Museum

The Canadian Museum of Water (CMoW) is located in Midland, Ontario. It is not just a building, but a movement dedicated to the preservation, understanding, and celebration of water as the lifeblood of our planet. As part of the Global Network of Water Museums, CMoW strives to reconnect people with their liquid heritage.

Through immersive exhibitions, educational programs, and community outreach, we explore the intricate relationship between humanity and water. From the Great Lakes to the smallest streams, every drop tells a story of survival, culture, and nature.

Our mission is to foster a new water culture that values sustainable use and equitable access for all living beings.
